It is the main gate of Encho-en which covered with yellow Ruri-Kawara (the Imperial Color) and shows imposing presence. There are two Chinese lion statues in front of the gate. The one on the right-hand side is the male which treading his paw on the sphere and the left-hand side is the female which treading her paw on the little lion.
The three structures Kafushya, Kakadou and Ichirantei are viewed through the window and there is a stone bench beside the window.
There is a cave in the mountain, and it is said that there is another condensed world which is cut off from the outside world in the cave.
The majority of Encho-en is designed in a royal gardening style except one part, the Gochikuyuen which is designed in a private grove style. This part of the garden has very graceful and delicate atmosphere like Jiāngnán in China while showing a good contrast with the large mountain and pond in the royal gardening style.
A gentle rain fall on this garden creates most peaceful scenery in Encho-en.
